Will #1 be yellow?

Would #6 seem appropriate in front of #10 & 11 Downing Street?

Did Mikey get his wish on #3?

Is it time yet?
Time to reveal the first new Koolwheelz of 2018.

Lets reveal at least one new Koolwheelz a week...as a minimum.
That'll give you some time to download, print and build each model.

You are all going to build them right?
lol
yeah right.

Okay...here we go...#1...get ready...

#1...the Plymouth Prowler

I fell in love with the Plymouth Prowler when it came out in 1997.
For me, this was the changing moment in my attitude toward Chrysler products.
I felt the exercise of giving designers free reign to create a unique and very impractical "hot rod" said something about the company's interest in styling and fun.
It reminded us we didn't have to drive around in nondescript metal boxes.
The Viper, the Prowler, the Crossfire...all such extreme opposites to the K-Car and Dodge MiniVan!

The Prowler has proven itself to be a fairly dependable sports car that has held its value quite well.
Only about 11000 of these cars were built and sold between 1997 and 2002, with most selling in North America.

Numerous conversions and custom accessories are available, and there are numerous Prowler owners clubs across the continent.
The car is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 front mounted engine and it is rear wheel drive.
It features 2 seats, a removable soft top and absolutely no luggage space.
Many Prowler owners added an external "Trunk" to the rear, or towed a small Luggage Trailer.
I had a wonderful Dune Buggy that had more room for groceries!
...but didn't look half as good!
To be honest I would have much rather owned a Prowler.

When creating Koolwheelz models, I have to follow certain self-imposed guidelines.
Although I don't work to a specific scale, I try to keep all cars in a similar small scale size.
The final model must be as simple as possible, as few parts as possible, and everything needs to fit on one sheet.

The rear fender flares and running boards on the Prowler are very narrow
...so narrow in fact that they were difficult to design and build at this scale.
I decided to over-stylize the rear of the Prowler to simplify the construction by making the fenders and wheels flat 2D artwork.
The front wheels and suspension are all 3D, with a lot of very small parts to cut out.
You'll thank me that I made the rear simpler!.

I have still classed this model as an "Advanced" build because of the small front suspension parts.
And shaping and aligning the body parts (top and side panels) will take some patience and preplanning.
The model is realistically only a Medium difficulty build, but I didn't want anyone to be surprised.

The original 1997 Prowler only came in one colour...Purple Metallic.
Other colours were offered the following year.
Although I do love the purple, I would prefer a Yellow one.
Yellow has always been a favorite of mine for HotRods and Roadsters.
The Koolwheelz Prowler is a single sheet model, but the PDF contains two pages.
I have decided to include both an original Purple Prowler, and a Yellow Prowler all in one package.
