You did a great job on the Aston Martin. I love it.

I am getting a bit disillusioned with the Koolwheelz models again.
Once again, I am putting out a batch of them and getting very little feedback.

It seems to go in spurts.
I get much interest and requests for new models,
and then, when I finally release a new set...the interest seems to have waned.

I know, I know...artists, designers, crafts people...all exist on praise and attention.
Its true.
Even though I don't actively seek it, it definitely becomes an issue when its not there. LOL

Oh well...another Koolwheelz model is ready to go.

This once a week idea makes a lot more sense.
I'll try to keep it up.
I've got enough Koolwheelz for at least ten more weeks!

Would Sunday or Monday be the better day for releases?
(suppertime seems to be the best time of day)

And I have been thinking more about a tutorial/group build.
Unfortunately I haven't been focused on taking pictures the last few weeks,
so I don't have a good set of photos for a tutorial.
...but I'm sure I can offer something.

Although, unless there's more Koolwheelz activity, I wonder if there is a point to creating a group build?

Dave,

I do love to see the Koolwheelz releases, even though I'm partial to your aviation models.

I would prefer Monday as the release day, because I would have something to look forward to for when I get home from work.

I know that you're tutorials are a lot of work, however they are great references when I do a build.

There's my $0.02 Cdn worth.

When are you going to release a whirlygig?

Gary

Well, I love Koolwheelz.
The Aston is printed out and on my "to do pile". Real life, however has a habit of intruding- this week has been the 8th anniversary of losing my daughter, Wendy, so not really in a building state of mind.
Keep designing Koolwheelz.

I too am a fan of Koolwheels. I'm back to 6 day weeks again, for the forseeable future. This week was 68 hours. By the time I get home, too tired to do much of anything. Fear not, you and the other talented designers out there are appreciated, even if we don't always show it. Thanks for your efforts.
PS: Love that Space 1999 Eagle!

Quite a few in line before the Eagle...be patient.

Yeah, I understand about life getting in the way.
My biggest issue is expecting to see responses within hours of posting something,
when in reality, it may take many days for people with jobs and lives to visit the forum.

So, I guess Monday will be release day then?
Suppertime or thereabouts.
As I said, I have ten more weeks worth of releases ready to go.
Will probably have two, or three, or four more (lol) before their done!

I don't think it's due to any lack of enthusiasm towards KoolWheelz, almost all forums and email lists I belong to have slowed considerably.

Perhaps it's post-holiday winding down coupled with real life nipping at my heels, but not much seems to really grab my attention right now (KoolWheelz, other paper models, or other hobby interests).

Having said that, I do look forward to the next model reveal each time you do one. I am always in awe that you are able to keep the models (relatively) simple, yet capture the essence of the subject matter so well.

okay...its Monday!...which is now officially Koolwheelz release day!
At least for the next ten weeks.

And continuing with the 2018 Release Party...
next up, is the Mattel Hot Wheels Super Van Ambulance!

You'll find the Hot Wheels Ambulance in the Specialz-Toyz section of the Koolwheelz models (at my website).
