U-Boat Flags
In response to a request in another thread,
I will be putting together a simple package of Flags for Kooklik's Uboat (and the repaint versions of same) The idea at the moment is collection of U-Boat accurate flags. I'd love to hear any requests or suggestions for flag types. (reference images would be a great asset) I have three historically accurate U-Boat flags already. I'll make sure the Flags are scaled to suit Kooklik's current Uboat scale and I'll include a few other sizes too. Post here, or PM me with your ideas.

You already made one!
Obviously I would like to see any flags that could be used on the u-boat from kooklik. I would also like to see flags that could be used on trents subs (including is upcoming virginia class) I think flags for APA's ships would go hand in hand with trents early subs but unsure Chris

heres where we are so far....
I have created a set of German U-Boat flags using actual Flag photographs and a little bit of digital magic. It includes at least three accurate German WW2 U-Boat used Flags (hopefully more if I get some suggestions) These double sided flags are scaled to fit Kooklik's U-boat with a slightly smaller and slightly larger variation included. They also include "full flags" and "wavy/animated" flags (see the pic for one of the Flags!) The Flag sheet will be available, as a FREE download through ecardmodels.com The new "fantasy repaint" U-Boat (from Kooklik's U-Boat also) will include some "bonus" Flags, including a "fantasy" flag to suit the repaint. More Flag suggestions are invited! Chris, you will have to give me details on the Flags required for the new (American?) Subs...okay?

Just as a matter of correction,
from what I gathered through some light Internet research... these Flags are more specifically U-Boat application. They may not have been used in other Marine applications as I did find many other Marine related Flags and Insignia that were NOT used on U-Boats. The sheet also has some reproduction "Victory Pennants" which are apparently quite a rare collectable. Stitched by the crew members themselves, each pennant recognizes a "kill" or sinking while on tour and are flown during the Crew's return to Port for service, etc.

I modified the title to read U-Boat instead of just Boat
