Does it have a large drill bit on either end to drill through the Earth?

Technically that would be INCORRECT!
It is not a Mark 5 anything. There is no evidence that the "Bank Breaker" wasn't an original design of the Fantom's. ...and there's nothing suggesting* it was the Fantom's fifth version of his own design. (*as far as I know) Considering the movie is set in 1899...19 years before the British deployed their MkV, how could it be?. Not to mention, the movie is set in an alternate reality/timeline. There are numerous physical differences too...like the central forward mounted cannon and ramming Hull. This is also one of the reasons I stated (after Don's earlier question) that I had no idea of how the vehicle is powered. The vehicle doesn't have a mid-mounted engine like a British MkV. It has an "Engine Room" extension at the rear (containing what type of engine I don't know!) Could be Nuclear powered for all I know...even Alien tech is mentioned in the original comics. My point being, this is not a stolen or copied British Tank. So its technically not a Mark 5 or any version of it. Its the Fantom's Bank Breaker! ...Neilio gets a partial-Win!

Woot! Does that mean you’ll partially design my new Koolwheelz request?
