Looks awesome.
I wondered how you'd manage the "silver" / "chrome" color.
As usual, great graphics!

This is past my time, as far as Hot Wheels are concerned.
This isn't a car I owned or had any interest in personally.
So, I really have no interest in doing a paper version.

I've sold a couple of Rodger Dodgers.
Only one I have left is a loose Super Chrome 1977.

What saddens me is that when I was a kid, my brothers and I all collected HotWheels. between 1968 and 1980, the 4 of us must have collected hundreds, with a few of them bought in Germany when we lived there. Then when Dad got transferred back to the United States in 1982, they all disappeared while our stuff was being shipped overseas.

My parents throwaway three salesman cases of Matchboxes & Hot Wheels while I was I college. They also dumped many of my old collectables.

They never explained why...

I have suggested to Ruben that I might give him the reward for the last challenge.
But he very smartly reminded me that this might look like favoritism or unfair (to others).

He reminded me that I did state the rules before we started
and that I declared an expectation for an accurate answer.
...and that he did not give the exact answer I was looking for.

So, I'm going to leave it open for now...
we'll move on to the last two rounds.

Hopefully we will end up with two more Koolwheelz suggestions
giving us four ideas for the final Koolwheels Poll.
And then, I'll add a fifth option to the list, so we have five model suggestions to choose from and vote on.
(I'll take Ruben's ideas into consideration along with my own)

My "box" of Hot Wheels was given away, to a neighbour kid, that I had no connection to,
when I was about 12 or 13 yrs old.
I was there when it happened and didn't care. (stupid stupid stupid)
I let my parents toss a lot of stuff that I "didn't care about" any more.

Somehow, I did manage to hang on to my Hot Wheels Sizzlers cars
but I very stupidly gave those away, years later,
to a fellow that bought a bunch of Slot Car stuff from me.
I just threw them in with the lot, even though he wasn't interested in them.
(stupid stupid stupid)

For some weird reason my father started collecting Hot Wheels in the 80s.
He never had any interest before that.
Just another "collector sickness" or "hoarder's hobby" I think.
When he died, I inherited the lot, and started selling it.
About 10,000 cars, 90% of them new in packages.
Unfortunately nothing of any great value.
Very little "redlines" or "Originals"
...but enough Pre '90 stuff that I am now a "Vintage Hot Wheels" vendor at various Toy Shows.
I sold off the 8000 (or so) Post '90 cars to other Dealers.

Sometimes, at a show, I consider buying some old Hot Wheels.
And then I laugh and remind myself of why I am at the show in the first place!

There seems to be a cult-like following of the 1974 HW Rodger Dodgers among collectors, and the blue one is the Holy Grail. Apparently there was a small number produced in blue (like a ridiculously small number), and it also seems to be widely accepted that the blues were a UK release. Still on the card they're worth several thousand dollars.
I honestly knew nothing about this model.

I guess the story is an American collector bought them from someone in the UK.
Only 7 of them.
And he sold them off in the US by mail order.

Might have been a test subject in the UK...although 7 is a very small test?
Its possible that others still exist in private collections in the UK.
Since Blue models were not released anywhere else, these were either prototypes, test models, or special issues for something.

I don't know how reliable this story is, since Blue is listed as the alternate colour to Plum for the '74 model in the Flying Colours series
and is known to have been produced and sold, albeit in much less limited numbers.

Same goes for models with white interiors (either colour)...very rare.

The toy is modeled on a 72-74 Dodge Charger.
A car that I never liked.
And the Hot Wheels styling of this car doesn't appeal to me.
I doubt you are going to see this as a Koolwheelz model.

I see a Ford J in your collection. Haven't seen one of those in years.
