Ponytails' Testbuild Part 6: Final bits and pictures.

At the end I almost forgot the pylons. Although the external tanks are not used the mounts for them are still on the plane and also on the model.
To be short: no problems whatsoever.

And these simple last bits conclude this testbuild.

I promised some final pictures so here the are, no comments:

OK, one remark: the stand was made of a piece of pliewood and wire.
This design was made by me and in my head ever since the test started. The real thing is just as it was ment and bend to be!

For all you builders out there: get this cardmodel and enjoy it as much as I do. And did whilst testbuilding it!

See/hear you all soon,

Ponytail.

The British have a sadistic sense of design; the cockpit is offset to the side to make room for the weapons systems operator (or whatever he is called in the RAF).

I had the opportunity to sit in both stations of a Sea Vixen. That little compartment for the WSO is claustrophobically small!

In fact, the Vulcan is the same way...too small even for people of my normal stature. Geez!

Well done build. This is a most attractive non-military scheme, and you
made it look easy!

great pics and very cool stand!

I promise to get this up this weekend - sorry for being so slow :( its been really busy for some reason.

As an FYI Dave also did a copy of the redbull with no grey for those of you that want to print on metallic paper. It will be a separate model.
Thanks!
Chris
