As the frame rails are hollow tubes, you could layer inside them to pack them out - this would stop warping, wouldn't it ? Just spit ballin'

That's a good-looking frame. So are the corner supports (jacks? Stands?), which are models in and of themselves.

The actual frame rails are C channel steel, but to duplicate that in paper is a bit more difficult.
Two precise inside and outside layers are needed.
Its not quite as strong as a boxed rail.
And keeping it in the the "C" shape is difficult and might require soaking it in glue.

So I choose to use a boxed rail.

The boxed rail is twisted by the act of assembly.
Its virtually impossible to maintain perfect alignment along the full length of the tube overlap.
Micro deviations result in exaggerated twisting and warping along the entire length.

I think the easiest thing to do is glue up the part and then manually twist and contort it straight and hold it that way until the glue starts to set up.
If the part could be held in some sort of jig, that would work too.

Not sure "packing the rail with anything would help.
You could insert a solid wooden (balsa?) rail inside the paper part or assemble the paper rail around a solid rail made of any rigid material.

But for now, I have to offer a paper part that can be acceptably assembled with no additonal elements.

No problem with 1/24, I can scale it up to 1/16. Likewise, if 1/24 is a preference to me or anyone else, we can scale it down from 1/16. Talking about Saladin, please don't forget Saracen.

I never saw a Stolly used to carry another vehicle Kevin, The load platform is a bit high up, but it probably could if it needed to. In my experience, it's primary use was fast cross-country ammunition resupply to the tanks, but it was nearly as multi-talented as the Landrover ... just bigger and a lot faster. It was a fantastic vehicle to ride on in the rough ... especially if you were hanging on for dear life in the back.

Another week has passed, and I have been fiddling and modifying this frame.
This is the third frame I have built so far... and I have cut off and replaced brackets, reskinned the rails, and redesigned many parts.
What you see in the photo is just more testing of designs...I just finished cutting off all the rear spring brackets!
I was about to test new parts, when I realized...

the frame is showing considerable wear and tear, so its time to throw this frame aside and start on a new build.
I didn't want to do this until I was sure I had no more changes to make...and I think I am at that stage.
Although, I can still build it again if I have to!

I am currently test building the Axle/Differential parts, and creating the leaf springs.
So, by the time I rebuild the frame, I should have those parts to attach...
and I will post another report at that time.
