I have direct access to an actual Limber and 25pdr.
I have already taken some photos. But that doesn't mean I don't want additional references. Especially anything with markings. I have used Armoured Acorn in the past...but have not looked there as of yet. By all means, send me whatever you have! ....................... The FAT is done!...I have yet to take my final photos, but I will soon. I think the Instruction pages are also done. 9 pages of diagrams and 1 info page. Right now I am organizing the Parts pages. Looks like 30 pages with about 900 parts. After that, I have to number all the Parts (on Parts pages and Assembly diagrams). Maybe 300? numbered parts. Then, the final package and cover page...and publish to PDF...and into the store! Stay tuned FAT fans.

One more update...
I've been getting a lot of comments (bordering on criticism) surrounding the Tires on my model. The tires you see on the finished model are a British Dunlop military tire. Not, an American tire, as some have claimed. But they are non-directional tires...straight cut tread pattern. Based on photos of the factory delivered chassis, and what you can see in wartime photographs, I think the correct tire for the vehicle is most likely a directional tread, angled cut tire. I don't disagree with this...but I don't have any definitive evidence that supports this either. Except for a lot of modelers and self proclaimed "expurts" who are all pointing out that my model is incorrect. I see no reason why tires could not have been changed at some point in the service life of a vehicle? ... and so I argue that my tires are NOT incorrect. This is not a factory fresh vehicle, and I specifically sought out the correct size of British Military tire. Size is 10.50 x 20 (as indicated in the original Service Manual for the vehicle). The first 4x4 chassis had 16" wheels...and later 20". Originally, I was looking for a way keep the assembly of the Tires as simple as possible, and since I had experience with a similar construction (during the Saladin build) I decided to copy the style. Thats how I chose to use the straight cut non-directional tires instead of angled cut treads.. But I'm sure I also saw photos of these tires on a similar vehicle (but it could have been a British Morris Quad). I decided to try building a directional tire a few weeks back.. and since, I have decided to include both sets of tire types in the kit. With the explanation that one is more accurate, and one is slightly easier to assemble. Cutting out the straight treads is fairly quick and easy with scissors...even though there are a lot of treads. And gluing them down is quicker, easier and less trouble than keeping the angled ones in alignment. But the angle cut treads are fewer. So...if you don't like the straight cut tread...build the other ones!
