An incredible amount of detail already. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

yeah...IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THIS COMPLICATED!

I started out with a plan for a 1/24 scale Truck...no interior...no drivetrain.
Basic chassis underneath.
Then maybe throw together a Limber and Trailer Gun.
Keep it simple. Keep it quick.

And now look what you made me do!!

Still plugging away at it...
as hoped, I have caught up with the Instruction pages (to where I am with the build).

4 pages of instructs so far...very time consuming creating the diagrams.
I manually draw everything, so there is just as much labour in the diagrams, as there is in the build! lol

Anyway, only thing left is to apply Part numbers.
I guess I'll do that at the end.

I've also been laying out Parts pages
...what a pain that is, since I have Parts all over the place, spread across many Corel design files!

Next up on the design list...the Ford V8 flathead engine and transmission.
Which, will be the last thing to add to the chassis, and then its back to Body.

I had a feeling this was gunna be good and you have not disappointed me.
I am however curious to know what has been your preferred glue during this test build stage?
I only ask as it appears to be doing a brilliant job with no sign of swelling or distortion.
I'll hazard a guess..uhu General purpose?
Clive.

Aileenes Tacky Glue (regular stuff. gold bottle)
Its all I use now.

Except for the occasional drop of CA glue,
and 3M Spray 77 for large laminations.

Cheers mate, you're getting great results.
I think I shall have to build this Quad once it becomes available.

This has been one of the most fascinating and informative builds on the forum. I must congratulate you on the excellent and thorough build and look forward to the next several thousand pages as it is completed. Well done sir !!
