A very nice collection. My favorites were the Dinky toy of the 1940s and 50s. I never owned many, but enjoyed seeing those of my friends. At the time, they were the most realistic motor vehicle models I had ever seen. I had a Dinky catalog that I read the covers off of (and wish I still had). To a Yank kid, the terms "saloon" car, "tipping lorry," "shooting brake," and "estate wagon" were wonderfully exotic.

Me too Don in terms of the Dinky toys.
And guess what - a year ago I opened a trunk that had travelled Africa (sealed) for 55 years and found all my Dinky toys packed neatly away as I had packed them many many years ago!!!! ---------------------------- I never in life owned a Hot Wheels - they did not exist in Africa!

I really don't have space. I wish I could get them to the UK and sell them there to some collector who will appreciate them!
