P-51 Mustang Disruptive Camouflage

Anyone interested in this?
P-51 Mustang Disruptive Camouflage
also referred to as the "Dazzle Paintjob"

On an earlier thread someone mentioned this as an option for a repaint.

Since I love Mustangs, I saved the idea for future consideration.

Well...its now future...and I'm considering!
I have already done all the prelim work
and ready to get to the complicated procedure of applying the new paint!
This would be a tricky one, since all the graphics are straight line geometric patterns that have to be adapted to fit a curved surface!

So...the big question is...is there enough interest for me to continue?
Let me know.

FYI - I am working with Marek Pacynski's 1/50 scale P-51

Just don't put the Dazzle camo on a P-51B - put it on a P-51A.

As long as it is a P-51A I will take it.

The one and only kit that I have to work with
is a Mustang III P-51C

and I take it, the first photo shows the Mustang as a Mk1 or A model correct?

There appears to be three major differences:
the belly air intake...although the intake on the model has a front section that can be altered.
the canopy...a new canopy could be designed to eliminate the "bubble" and add the proper framework.
the engine cowl air intake...is not part of the C design, and can not be easily altered

Unless I can get an A model to work with, this is my only available option at the moment.
So, once again...should I? or shouldn't I?

I can do a "disruptive style" Camo on any plane, boat, etc
but of course they would be "fantasy" camos.
This Mustang is obviously not a fantasy...thats the big interest.
