Thanks Troll
not sure what other marek's I will do...we will see

On a lighter note...
I was hoping no-one would notice my big blunder
but alas, someone has!
LOL
and they have every right to point out my error!

Unfortunately, its a little too much to cut and pull apart
to fix now...I woud probably have to build all new parts.

So consider this a warning to all who build a kit like this...
study your reference material well
and make sure you install the landing gear the right way around!!

Still, it's a great build Dave. And the Tuskegee re-paint is top notch. I bought the kit in 1/33rd scale last night from Chris.

Looks great and I appreciate all the detailed information and photos of the build.

A small "oops!", Dave. The LG wire pattern on page 2 is still in 1:50 scale - not a biggie since it easily printed out at 1:33 but you and Chris might want to fix that.

Posted this on ecardmodels, said I would post it here too!

Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Lee A. Archer (pilot of INA The Macon Belle)
was buried (Feb 12) in Arlington National Cemetary with full Military honours.

Apparently he died at the end of January, he was 90 years old.

Sad news yes
...but also brings a tear to your eye to know that he went on to a full and productive life after WW2,
had a great career and was much honored for his contribution in Wartime and his part in African-American History.

I think its important to remember these Heroes and their contributions, just as much as we remember the great aircraft.

Touching video HERE from ABC news, of Archer's Funeral on Feb 12,
including some wonderful commentary from Roscoe Brown, another Tuskegee Airman.
