I wasn't building anything as far as extras goes. I'm swamped with school, so if I have a chance I'll build something, but until then, I won't be able to

not a problem cmdr!

as you can see, I did build the Fuel Drums and cans
and just about everything I have designed so far.

my only problem has been the lack of printer ink
and now defective ink cartridges...
so I can't print things in proper colours
(thats why I haven't built one of my B-24s yet)

I just couldn't remember if we had agreed on anything
(the crash made it worse!)
and I have a few things out there being test built (or not being test built! lol)

I don't remember, but where you going to make a bomb hoist? or one of the munitions carts? If you made something that I could/would use in a diorama that I am building right now, I probably could make some time to build it.

I built an engine hoist to go along with a spitfire display (one of these days I'll get it all posted). I looked long for something suitable, and after seeing quite a few photos of the same thing in England, Alaska, and India, I decided that this might be something of a military standard. Sorry no drawings available, this is scratch built including the chain fall. If you want, I can give you a few dimensions when I get home in April. Just send me a private message, and I will work on it.

Yup Cgutzmer, its paper. Except, of course, the chain, and the tension wires, and that handle. The frame is rolled paper tubes, soaked in CA. The rest, including the chain fall is paper. It is 1/24th, so that helps in building it.

can you imagine trying to design that hoist as a kit in 1/50 scale?
now, you know why I'm not gonna try it!
lol

Lets see- that would be about 1/2 the size of this one. I don't know....that could be a challenge....I may try. No, on second thought, I think you are right!

Since everyone is completely wrapped up in building all these FG models
now would be a great time to ask for a "test build"!
LOL
anyone?
anyone?
Beuller?
Beuller?

chirp chirp (Cricket sounds)

My "Diorama Accessories" Kit is still evolving!
The 1/50 scale kit is up to 15 pages (I think)
and has some new items.
heres the first mockup of the cover page:

I just started a test build of the new "16' x 16' general purpose Field tent

but...
I need a "test build" of the new Ford A/C Tow Motor vehicle.
My fairly simple model was designed from this WW2 era photo:

Its not a very complicated model, one sheet, limited details (because of its size)
and should take no more than a couple of hours to assemble.
The wheels are probably the most time consuming part of the build!

Would anyone like to give me a speedy test build?
I need it done fairly quickly, because I am moving ahead with this kit
and getting close to wrapping up the whole package.

Let me know if you wanna give it a try.
(I would prefer no build thread at this point, although photos of the construction and the completed model are recommended)
