Sorry, but I cannot see well enough to work without daylight ... Saturdays are mostly taken up chauffeuring Milady around the shops ... and Sundays are Rugrat invasion centered ... So nothin' is likely to get built here before Monday.

Very slowly, and very painfully, but I'm beginning to get started again. The fingertip knife is helping some, but the old art of finger massaging paper curves is still way out of consideration. My finger tips are so painfully insensitive, that I'm more likely to crush a model instead of stroking some realism into it. Frustrating, but I'll keep on trying. There's around a dozen half started models around and there must be over a hundred in my ever growing 'to do' pile now, and no one else is gonna build them for me.

There ya go ... Just the as designed size for now.

Y'know, for someone who reckons the Herald is ugly, you've done a good job of capturing the 'Cute' aspect of it Dave.

Permission to post a picture on the Club Triumph forum please?

I'm sure they'll love it, and it could well generate some visitors to your website. I just hope I don't get too many 'Make me one' requests,
'cos sods law says they'll all want different colour schemes.

Awesome!
Please, go ahead and promote it anywhere.
Here are some more pics....

Based on the 1960 Triumph Herald 948 Coupe, its a much cartooned version.
Basically its a quick modification of the Minions Car.

Model is available now in the Cartoonz section
Koolwheelz Cartoonz

Lucy's car looks even better double sized ...

But it's still too small to go with my existing minion collection. Guess I'll have to try a 250% print. Probably then have to start thinkin' in terms of reinforcement with a chassis box and fully formed wheels. Maybe even glazed windows with proper formed Minions inside, or a Lucy 2D figure ????

OR ... I could just park it next to Bob ... He's shorter than all the others.

I'm getting emails from the Triumph nuts (Fans) all over Facebook, saying they can't find it. I deliberately only gave out the cut'n'fold address so they had to look around the site, but there's so many requests that I've had to give the hints ... Koolwheelz (where else?) ... Cartoonz ... right at the bottom (It's new). So hopefully more will find it now.

Get ready for the "Can you do it in different colours?" requests Dave. Heralds were sold in a very wide range of colours, and most have been re-sprayed several times by now. Sorry if I've opened a can o' worms for ya.
