Ok, I have to admin that I needed to Google "Red Baron Hot Wheels" to know what this was...
Having looked at the results of said Google search, I think Dave has done a great job of capturing the "flavor" of this car while not making it overly complicated (at least at this stage of the game).

Once again...got nothing to do with Hot Wheels.
I am not doing a model of a Hot Wheels toy. Red Baron is a custom car...designed by Tom Daniels. Built by Chuck Miller for Monogram. yes...Mattel did a modified version of the Red Baron back in 1969, 1970. yes...Tom Daniels had a hand in the Hot Wheels design. And yes, I did have the Hot Wheels version at that time. But thats really got very little to do with my doing a paper model of the Red Baron. If you search for Tom Daniels Red Baron or something similar, you will acquire more pertinent results. ... Apologies, but I get frustrated at the constant connection between my paper models and Mattel Hot Wheels. As if Hot Wheels are the only inspiration and subject matter that I am concerned with. There are currently 95 KoolWheelz models...(wow, that many?! is that right?) and only five are actual Hot Wheels derivatives. There are five more that weren't inspired by Hot Wheels, but are available as Hot Wheels toys. I've created more models that have been created by other diecast companies than Hot Wheels!

It was not my attention to offend. However, you DID mention having a Hot Wheels model, and from that reference, I used Hot Wheels as a search term. In no way did I imply (or intend to) that you were doing a paper Hot Wheels model. Again, HW was simply a search term I used...

artists get touchy about their work, by nature, like when years ago when I was starting to go bald , I went to buy a vcr , and the clerk asked me ''Four-head?'' And I beat the heck out of him.

Lost post...
I did a recount. Looks like I made a mistake. 96 models ...not including the "Extraz" section. And also not including the unreleased models. ...
