Got a few new KoolWheelz models all ready to go...just working on publishing them. but I want you to decide what order they get released. lets have a Fund Raiser for August...I need it. I still can't pay for this Trip in November!... I'll post more details real soon....stay tuned!!

Ah ha, so another taxi for the SF taxi 'series'.😸, the oddly named, but 'safe' one.
Can't place the 2nd vehicle, but it's bound to be worth it.

Time for TWO NEW KoolWheelz models!!!!!!
First up... I saw this car back in about 1966...in Thunderball. (I'm sure I saw Thunderball before Goldfinger) But the car actually made its first appearance in Goldfinger. Thats why the Corgi diecast version was released in Gold colour...even though the car appeared in the movie in silver. Anyway...I have been wanting to make a paper version of this car for a long time. Unfortunately its a very complicated shape...and to make it work as a KoolWheelz model meant I had to come up with some major simplifications and shape changes that would still work visually. As a result, its a tricky build...I've changed its skill rating to Advanced for that reason. The model features ejection roof panel lines and an optional rear Bullet screen. It was just too small to add the rolling Licence plates and hideaway front guns. And those wheel hub spikes were fake anyway...not on the actual car. Just a movie closeup fake effect. The model is now available...you can find it in the StarCarz section. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Next up is a car I first saw in person back around 1968. And of course, I had the original Monogram model... and later, I had the Hot Wheels version (in 1969? I think) The Red Baron was originally a Tom Daniels design...for the Monogram plastic model. But Monogram had a real life version built by car builder Chuck Miller. (It has been copied/rebuilt by other builders over the years) This was another challenging model...trying to turn the complicated shape into paper and simplify the entire car to be a one sheet, minimal part KoolWheelz model. I decided to follow the original Tom Daniels design rather than the real life version (or Hot Wheels versions) because they are considerably different. I want it to be part of my Tom Daniel's tributes. Its not the easiest build, but I think its pretty straightforward and not difficult. I have also created an Assembly sheet for this model to make it easier. Look in my KoolWheelz Instruction area of my forum (cutandfold-papermodelforum.com). The Red Baron is available now and in the ShowCarz section of my website.

I'm not sure how you figured all that out, and combined the models, but its quite unique!
A Reliant Robin Tumbler. And the name "Batman's Robin" is perfect. lol

My next NEW KoolWheelz release is a special car to me...
when I turned 16 and got my License, I drove my Father's little Toyota and my Girlfriend's Plymouth. But later that year I bought my first car (with my Girlfriend)... a 1972 Ford Capri. It was the first of about eight Capris and Pintos* we owned over the next 2 years. I bought many for Parts but drove two Capris on the road...a '72 and a '74 and I loved them both. *the original Pinto motor was the same motor...a German 4 cyl 2.0 litre I loved these little Capris, with their fastback looks and extra long bonnet. And unlike many North American cars at that time, they were safe and reliable. Factoids: The original Capri is built by Consul of England in the early 1960s...not anything like this car. This (German) Ford Capri began production in 1969 and was inspired by North American muscle. After this car, the 2nd Generation Capri went to a hatchback with exposed Gas Tank in the rear. The car was altered to suit the North American market but actually did not fair well in America. The followup North American built Ford Capri (and its sister the Mercury Cougar 2nd gen) was something of a joke to most and bore no connection other than name, to the original Capris. My Capri was an awful deep Green colour, that I never liked, but the car got written off in an accident before I had a chance to repaint it. I was in the process of making surface repairs...the car had primer patches...and it also had a Hood Mural (when it was wrecked). So, I decided to be true to the original and produce the model in the same green...minus the primer and hood mural. The paper model is available now in the KoolWheelz Specialz section at my website

Glad you liked the Robin - it's taken a little while to build. Lovin' the Capri.
