yeah...I do some Instruction sheets.
If I think the model warrants it, and I don't have room on the model sheet for diagrams.

...please don't expect this for every model.

But, I have said it before, if you really get stuck on a model,
ask and I will make up an Instruction sheet.

Sorry if you already know this.

Dave,
The half size is going to work well. I cut out the wheel base and compared it to my Tucker of 1:100 and they will fit well together.
Thanks, again,

John

oh, now I get it...

Mike built the Milk Truck...big scale!...and he's directing me to it in the "civilian wheels" section.

Air dave's 1930's delivery milk truck

Nice.

So, the next KoolWheelz release will be on Saturday or Sunday.
Whenever I get the urge.

Dave,

I have started building it at approximately 1:100 scale (see: http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/d...s-chateau.html). Anything in milk delivery is interesting to me. I drove a Divco on a milk route in High School (1953 -54). You really meet some strange folks at 0500 in the morning (even in a small town).

Great!

I don't have any special interest in Milk Trucks, so I doubt I'll be offering any more.

My interest was sparked because its another special built promotional vehicle.
Like the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile, I am fascinated by real use "custom" vehicles.

You could always swap out the Beer Cases for Milk Baskets on the Budweiser Wagon!

But beer is really the milk of the gods, isn't it?
So, just leave it as is. lol

Ready for another one?!

Its the AM General Humvee.
So, why another Humvee model you ask?

I am not a fan of those who drive street vehicles that are too big for them
or vehicles that are just too big and heavy to handle on normal city streets.
I laugh when I see someone who can't park their monster four by four pick up truck in a Walmart parking lot.
And I think you should be trained and tested in whatever vehicle you plan to drive on the street.

I think anyone who drives a civilian Humvee (including H1, H2 and H3 Hummers) needs a lesson in common road sense.
They all seem to be the worst drivers.

Having said that...I think the Humvee (Military) is an amazing vehicle.
I was amazed by the original Lamborghini powered prototype and what it evolved into,
and even more amazed at the longevity and proven performance of the AM General HMMWV.
And, they provide a substantial amount of protection for soldiers.
What a great replacement for the Jeep.

I've wanted to do a small Humvee model for some time, but there are already a few out there.
so I wondered if it was really necessary...mine wouldn't be any better, right?.
And, when I created the Easy-Build Humvee model, another Humvee model became even more redundant.

But, the other day I came across some old artwork for a small Humvee I had started,
and so I decided to go ahead and create a KoolWheelz scale Humvee model.
This one is actually based on my Easy Build model artwork, but with a chassis and 3D wheels.
I've also added a number of layering parts to give more detail.

I was originally hoping to put out a Canadian themed Humvee
...but the Canadian Armed Forces do not keep or use Humvees in regular Canadian Army service.
They have used Humvees in the Middle East (for special forces operations working alongside the US ground forces),
but those Humvees are not specifically marked in any way...just your standard desert tan colours.

So, thats what I have created...a basic sand coloured HMMWV...KoolWheelz style.
You can call it Canadian if you like.
Or 'Murican...or whatever.

You can find it in the Specialz section...under Military.
