When you go to the Koolwheelz section, for the first time, or after your cache has cleared
and you click on the StarCarz section...
how long does it take to load?
(Assuming you have decent Internet connection...those with really poor Internet need not answer)

The reason I ask is that the StarCarz page is the biggest, with the most Koolwheelz links.
Its now about 9000 pixels tall.
I keep extending pages every time I add a new Koolwheelz model.
So, it keeps growing ...more than any other section.

But the Starcarz page is getting too long I think?

I already tried creating some new sub-sections and moving a couple of models,
but it didn't really make a dent.
And although I hate adding more pages, I am thinking I might have to break up the Star Carz section
into at least two pages (or more, depending on the sub-topics).

Do you have any suggestions?
For sub-topics...or how to split up the StarCarz section?
Or, is it perfectly fine (for you) the way it is?
On my computer, I have had Movie Carz and TV Carz folders for years, which I recently moved under a new folder called StarCarz. I then , for my own computer, created a Batman folder, since there are TV and Movie models.

Would something like that help with the page length?

Generally, I ignore them. Always something better to watch...

PC with so-so wifi connection. Using Epic Privacy Browser with my encrypted proxy set to the Netherlands it was all but instant. Ditto with Chrome with no privacy settings other than AdBlocker.

(Epic retains nothing from previous sessions, allows no tracking, cookies, ads or other favorite Google snoops.)

So, leave it alone and get on with designing that A-Team van.

I think airdave will need a new website section for the A-Team van...

LOL best answer yet!

so...multiple responses indicating that even though the page is getting quite long
it is still not affecting the experience to the user.

Good to know.

Back on the "is the StarCarz page too long" question...

I just realized that I have still not moved all of the Space related models
from the StarCarz page
and into the recently created SpaceCarz section.

Not sure why I stopped doing that, but once I move some more,
it will also lighten the load on the StarCarz page.

Thanks again for your input though (with this question).

[Clark Griswold] - "Cousin Eddie's out on the street again...and whats he doing with that hose?"

Apparently a lot less people are interested in this model (than I thought would be).
Which isn't a big concern, since I pick Koolwheelz subjects for me.
But, I still like to present things that are of interest to others...
and on that note, might I suggest you watch National Lampoon's Vacation and Christmas Vacation, if you haven't seen them.
Try to get the original uncut, uncensored versions.
Both movies are aired a lot on regular TV, and are (in my opinion) over edited and censored...and ruined.
Theres nothing X-rated in the original cuts, just makes a lot more sense.

I love the Vacation films. I was a huge fan of Saturday Night Live and the comedic cast that included Chevy Chase.
I saw every Chevy Chase film...including the National Lampoon Vacation films.
And, I rewatch Christmas Vacation every year...its on my list of annual must-see Holiday themed movies.

I think one of the best parts of Christmass Vacation (...there are so many!...) is the appearance of Cousin Eddie and his family.
Long before Randy Quaid went psychotic and moved to Canada, he played some great characters...like the beer swilling Cousin Eddie.

And his RV has become an icon of comedy films.
Thats why I felt it deserved to be in my Koolwheelz collection.

The motorhome itself is a Ford Condor II...roughly 1972 edition.
I don't know what happened to the original film vehicle...there is a clone motorhome, maybe built for an amusement park?
Its photos are all over the interwebs, claiming to be the original, but the rust patterns and exterior details are quite different.
I did my best to grab as many actual screen shots as I could (from the original film) and use those as visual reference for the artwork.

There really isn't anything special about the vehicle, other than how weathered it looks, to distinguish it as the movie vehicle.
Thats why I also included the Septic drain hose and Cousin Eddie cutout!
Display it on "snow" and you've got a moment in movie history!

This is the third RV/Camper I have added to the Koolwheelz collection.
I honestly don't know if thats the start of a new sub-section...lol...but RV are turning out to be a lot of fun!

Find this one in the StarCarz section at my website!
There will be no assembly sheet for this one...its a fairly simple assembly.
