LMAO
In the past I post a model, and I get tons of responses: "can you do a green one?" "can you do a camo one?" "can you do the Movie version?" "can you do the Police Car version" LOL thats exactly what I expected when I posted Deckard's Ground Spinner! So I held off...held off posting...so I could take the request and go WHAM! ...there it is! But no request... no wham... there it is.

Excellent. Time to head over and get them. If the second is up. Otherwise I will have to exercise patience and only get the first.
Bless you Dave and your decendents to the 5th generation. Was that over the top? Well, I really do like these. And the Dragula 2001 Pro Street Mini Truck is also available. Thanks again Last edited by Vermin_King; 09-20-2011 at 06:18 PM. Reason: More Info |

Dear Air Dave:
Nether fish nor fowl, HIPPO BUS, HIPPO BUS, you said it has wheels. I can't afford to drive not afford the cost of the tour, I liked the video the bus company did. I think that it would be a cool KOOLWHEELS. Thats my vote, MILES |

looks terrific, but the light fixtures scream to be conic sections.
here's one that is 5mm at the top, 8 at the bottom, and 6mm tall. I hope I get some + points to make up my deficit... If I use my google stats, I"m well over 1,000,000 already, I'm gonna do something soon.... |

I know KoolWheelz are for beginning modelers, but I had planned on doing individual lights, too. They shouldn't be too difficult even for beginners.

That means making two separate parts for each light - cylinder + top And then theres a joining tab to deal with and maybe a base disc? Times three lights, thats 6 to 12 additional parts. then...theres the Base/Stand for the Lights. Then theres the size...you offered me two conical cylinders 5mm+8mm Sorry, but you need to HALF that! My lights are 3mm+4mm Now, its getting tricky isn't it?! Sorry...too many parts for such a small item and parts that are WAY too small. You are correct...these kits are meant to be as simple as possible. Some are trickier than others...it depends on what is needed to do the job sufficiently. For this application, the box of lamps is acceptable. And, as usual, I always have an explanation: By 2019, the Los Angeles Police were using the Mark III Spinner for all Duties including Surveillance and Personnel transport. Remaining Mark II Spinners (in good condition) were modified for ground use only by removing all Flight equipment and instrumentation. Mark IIs were later modified again with new surveillance and communication equipment and given new Paint schemes to differentiate from flight capable Spinners, and enhanced security measures to combat against vandalism and theft. One of the more recent upgrades included encasing the standard Police Roof lighting into a clear shielding box to help guard against theft and vandalism. A handful of Mark IIs were used unmarked for ground operations by Blade Runner operatives.
