That means making two separate parts for each light - cylinder + top
And then theres a joining tab to deal with and maybe a base disc?
Times three lights, thats 6 to 12 additional parts.
then...theres the Base/Stand for the Lights.

Then theres the size...you offered me two conical cylinders 5mm+8mm

Sorry, but you need to HALF that! My lights are 3mm+4mm

I gave you ONE conical section that is 5mm at the top and 8mm at the bottom. Print at 70% for your your model sized model. Of course I'm gonna build it at 160%, so the 5-8mm cones are just right...

I think I will just build it straight. The clear shielding box explains it perfectly.

Dave, do you get stats on which of your models are most downloaded? It would be great to see which ones are the most popular.

just printed it at my size and at 70% not too small at all. Maybe you want to offer it as an "enhanced parts" section replace your hako light kit with a rectangular base (like you have already) with the 3*3 pieces conical light kit. With careful drilling of holes, you can even mount tiny LED's in the conical sections, and a AAA or coin battery goes in the body...

personally when I get invited to those sweet 16, 1st communion, bar mitzhah parties where they have the DJ and dancers and they give away all the blinking LED bling, I gather up a few rip them apart and take out the light kits from them for my models.

What a great idea! Hadn't even considered that. And it's FREE!

I do have stats...but unfortunately they are spread out over different file hosts.

It would take a bit of calculating to figure out an accurate download count for each model.

It is however, easy to spot the models with the most downloads
and the least.

Lets see who can guess?....

Heres a list of all my KoolWheelz models.
Focusing just on the "finished" and "available" list,
tell me which are the top three downloads and which is the least downloaded.
Keep in mind that some have been available for about two years,
whereas some (like the Spinners here) have only been up for a few days.

So, don't inlcude models posted in the last couple of Months like the Spinners or the Mini Drag truck.

If you can name the top three and the least favorite,
I'll come up with a prize for you!

My guess, top downloads FAB:1, Rommels rod and Spectrum SPV.

Least download Korbens hover taxi.
