weird.
it looks about 2/3 scale?
obviously some sort of scratch built car.
why do I get an MG vibe from it?

I recognize the actor, but I'm not up on the sequence of Doctors.
Must be mid 70s?

Jon Pertwee Dr Who. His Dr had to use transport to get around as this Dr was Earthbound for a while - the Tardis not working. As well as Bessie, there was the Whomobile - a 'futuristic' car for the Dr to drive (apparently actor Jon Pertwee's idea).
By the way - not a Who nerd here, just grew up watching Jon Pertwee Dr Who (you always remember your first - Dr Who).

I reckon Dave might be more interested in the Whomobile than Bessie, but I doubt that too.

I'd be more interested in Mickey the Idiot's big yellow truck that he used to save the world, but that has already been addressed.

I was thinking recently about doing some more KoolWheelz Tutorials.
I think we should.

But then I got back into finishing the Saladin model...its so close now!...

and now I have a commission to build....

so who knows when I'll open up that KoolWheelz folder again.

I already have a number of KoolWheelz models on the go.
I even have a couple that I have tinkered with more recently (last year).
So, there is no shortage of upcoming models.

But even if I don't start work on something new for the collection,
I would still like to do some more Tutorials.
It was fun getting so many people involved.

Stay tuned, and once I get time, I'll ask for Tutorial suggestions again.

Re: Doctor Who models and suggestions.

Although I acknowledge and respect that there are original Dr Who fans, its just not my thing.
I'm talking specifically about the old Doctor Who series through the 1970s.

I remember the early Doctor (Pertwee)...the Daleks of course
...and even that Peter Cushing film.
But I didn't like the show as a child...I didn't watch it.
I was into Supercar, Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet.

Then I moved to Canada in the late 60s, so Star Trek and American TV was all I knew for the next 10 years.
I managed to catch a few episodes of UFO, but the only UK SciFi broadcast (on my TV) during that period was Space 1999.
Nope...hated Space 1999.
Mainly because it was everything I didnt like about Doctor Who.
Ham acting, low budget special effects, and every Alien just another weird rubber suit. lol sorry

So, as a result, I have very little interest in the vehicles and things from the earlier Dr Who series.

Yes, I fell in love with the new Series and really liked the new Doctors.
I love the connection to the original series, but beyond that, I'm not interested enough
to consider the original series vehicles like the Whomobile and Bessie.

Just my way of apologizing for the lack of interest in your Dr Who suggestions.

I enjoyed participating in the tutorials and would do so again. I'm not picky about which subject we tackle. But I have other stuff to work on also, so I can happily stand by until the time is convenient. I know putting the lessons together was a LOT of work!

Hmm...

How about "World Watch One" from Buckaroo Banzai? (This was the tour bus/mobile command center from the movie)

Maybe the Bus was not a big element in the film?
because I will have to go look it up.
I do love that film, so I will definitely find out more.

Trust me, I don't need any suggestions right now.
As I already mentioned, there are 2 or 3 models that I have already started and will revisit shortly.
And I have another dozen or more in the To-Do folder.
