Well, now you're going in the opposite direction and giving him more credit than hes worth! lol
While the Pinto was one step below the Maverick...an Edsel is three steps above it!

And you're insulting me.

Edsel happens to be my (middle) name.
I was named after Edsel Ford (Henry's son).

And "Ford Edsel" is completely inaccurate. There is no such car.

Contrary to popular myth, the Edsel was not a lemon or a failed automobile.
Edsel was just a third brand of the Lincoln-Mercury group and Edsel produced a number of models from 1958 to 1960.
Models like the Ranger, Pacer, Villager and Citation.
Unfortunately the Edsel brand did not live up to the excessive hype and over advertising, and sales just weren't good enough to keep the brand alive.
The Edsel cars themselves were quite innovative and impressive, but the auto market was shifting to smaller cars at that time and Edsels were still big and pricey.

Thanks guys for playing along!

As usual, I cannot please everyone with every Koolwheelz release,
and thats part of why I feel the need the to explain my subjects.
Give them some background and context
and hopefully make all the subjects more interesting (to all).

This latest release will be no exception, but hopefully you can appreciate what the subject means to me.

I'll give you a clue...to get you further away from Tom Cruise...
focus on the tagline.

Saturday is fast approaching...be patient

Get us away from Tom Cruise, but not necessarily Mavericks...

Got it!

(These guessing games are always such risky business, and can leave you feeling like one of the outsiders anyway...)

Ok, this guessing game is just getting too complicated.

It's the maiden aunt''s straight-six, two-speed auto Mavrick with a door decal.
