If model has bright colors, I prefering making out lines in little more dark color than fill. Its visible for builder, but don't too much contrast after build.

I think, that would be nice looking if top exit will be open a bit(just few degres)
and interior paint black.

That really cool. I love Dingo scout car. I'm collecting reference to build one too.

The line not bad for a model that small. I guess the line is 1 or 2 pix in thickness. You can try paint the line in a darker shade then the base color. I'm doing that on my models and that working out very well for me.
