I was working on the P-51H last night. Finally got some breathing room after a very busy time with work and such. I'll see if I can post a pic this evening. I'm going to the trouble of vectorizing the kit first so I can tweak it better. It's going to be fairly significantly improved.

Ryan - If you ever do any P/F-51Hs in other color schemes, I would live to have one in the markings of the 1950s Maryland Air National Guard 104th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 75th Fighter Group, like the ones I used to watch shooting landings at Harbor Field in Baltimore.

Have you seen a closeup / color deal of the squadron insignia?

Promised screenshot. I think I have the fuselage all finished - you'll see one side is green - that was the initial vector layer, then I flipped that layer over in Inkscape and started making additional tweaks and shapes in various layers in Inkscape using transparency for tracing purposes and then I will start tweaking line thicknesses, shading, coloring, and adding markings.

Fighting Oriole

Ryan -

Your P-51H looks very good.

I will email you a large-size image of the 104th FS Fighting Oriole, but this is what it looks like (the "104th Fighter Squadron" scroll did not appear on the aircraft).
