SBC-4 in 1/48

Roman,

Any thoughts of scaling your 1/72 SBC-4 Helldivers to 1/48? A -3 in 1/48 would be even better!

Failing that, how feasible is it for me to scale up the existing 1/72 models at ecardmodels? I can cut, enlarge and rearrange the parts, but will the detail become pixelated?

I enjoy your work. Starting the SBU-1 Aircraft Battle Force in a couple days!

Les -

I assume that the models to which you are referring are der kampfflieger (Roman Vasyliev).

If so, you should have no problem enlarging to 1/48. Roman's model have crisp lines, he often offers them in both 1/72 and 1/48, and in the past he has blown up a 1/72 model to 1/48 for me, and I noticed no diminution in the sharpness of the lines.

You will find out immediately if anything goes amiss when you try it.

If you are not talking about Roman's model, then disregard all after "Les."

With the exception a few very old models all of Roman's are drawn in vector and can be rescaled (up or down) with no loss or degradation of detail. I have enlarged some of his 1/100 and 1/72 up to 1/48 and routinely enlarge his 1/48 up to 1/32.
