Looks like George Lucas wasn't the first one to start "converting" firearms into ray-guns! That raygun is a Luger!

I love that helmet. I got hooked on the old serials when I was a kid and they showed them on a local tv station on Saturday afternoons. I now own King of the Rocketmen, Zombies of the Stratosphere, and Radar Men from the Moon. All three "Rocketman" serials. I would love to have a model for my desk or fullsize.

A friend of mine has the original helmet and I'm sure that if a designer needed photos or measurements, he'd be happy to oblige. A full size model would be great for Halloween!

Those old Republic serials were/are fun! There was a channel on the TV showing them when I still was in CA.

based on my rough measurements, it is around 30% of lifesize.

I was gonna make a Stand for it, but maybe I'll just leave that up to the builder.
Give me a day, and I'll get the PDF uploaded.
