Khai-3, Chay-3, or similar

Hello,

Does anyone know about, or is anyone working on, a kit for a Russian airplane named Khai-3, Chay-3, or similar? Searching reveals different names and spellings. I have attached some pictures. Some of the pics seem to show that the cockpit is "short", while the photo shows that it was actually "long". As far as I know, there has only been one of them produced, but I may be wrong there.

Please note: I don't own the copyright to any of the pictures, they are all from google image, I claim no rights, and apologize if I infringe any copyrights.

Thanks all.

Haven't come across this is paper but I think that Unicraft may have done one in resin or it may be on their future projects list...unicraft.com I think

Looking at the design, I just can't help but ask: Why?

And other may ask 'Why not?' The weirder the better...otherwise we'd be stuck with endless lines of Spits, 109s and Mustangs...

Maybe this can fulfil your request.

Hey SJPONell, you can't answer question with a question. A question is a question is not a answer.

NOBI, you have a finished model picture of that wing?

@SJPONeill, I tend to agree, I'm not saying weird stuff is "better" in any way, it's just more interesting. This particular design was probably not that great, considering its operational record... Also, yes, Unicraft models has this as a resin model, they have several pictures there as well.

@NOBI, I believe that these are pictures of the Horten V, not the craft I was looking for. Nevertheless, those were also really cool planes, and if you have a source for a plan, I'd be interested. I never really checked around for those...

Why not? ;)

LOL! A question is not a answer! LOL!

Are you sure?

Anyway...I would have thought that this kind of design would be well deserving of one of your retro makeovers...
