Midget submarines CB class

I try available stuff about the Italian midget submarines CB (Caproni tipo B), especially drawings, but also photographs.

The submarine was only 15 meters long. and had four crew members, was equipped with two 450 mm torpedoes.

These are some CB used during Operation Barbarossa, and photographed on the Black Sea in Constanza (Romania)

Constanza, September 1944.
These four "CB" were used by the Soviets after the war with the initials TM 4-7 for experiments and training.

What a fantastic choice for a paper model! I love the unique look of these submarines and I wish midget subs were better represented in the paper model community.

three-dimensional model

Hi, there is still some detail to finish the three-dimensional model.

I have not yet decided whether the final pattern will be 1/25 scale (at this scale the model would be 60 cm long), or a smaller scale

Either 1/35 or 1/72 would fit nicely with other small warships...

Between 1/25 and 1/35 there is no manufacturing differences,
for the 1/72 scale changes everything, should not be the same project

grazie, matt77
