Why no USS Texas in 1:200??????

Orel just released their USS Alabama, so clearly they are running out of any interesting US Battleships. Yet there is no 1:200 USS Texas, which is a much more interesting subject than many other US WWII BB's that have been released, such as the Oklahoma, who's only distinction was it sank in Pearl Harbor, and it was neither turned into a memorial OR returned to service. So why no commercial large scale Texas? Copyright issue? Then why an Alabama? Do not understand marketing sometimes. It's not like there is an actual museum that you could sell the associated product at, oh wait! There IS one!.
Is there a 1:200 USS Texas BB35 in paper I have just missed? (and don't even get me started on the Virginia/Texas CGN group, would die for a 1:200/1:300 CGN39 Texas, those CVN 65 Enterprise's or Nimitz's aren't going escort themselves! ). Sorry, rant move over, weeping at the price of the plastic 1/350 Trumpeter Texas.

well I'm with you. Halinski did an Alabama class BB way back but it was very basic and dated. I guess an update was due. JSC and Modelik both did a Washington class BB way back now there are 2 updates of that class. I get frustrated at companies re doing things that were already done. We do need a Texas/New York class BB. We need an Enterprise, the hornet that was brilliantly done seems to be still in the one off proto type stage. We need an IJN soryu, we have 2 hiryu models if I recall. We have models of all the other pearl harbor raid fleet but soryu. there are a dozen early uk ijn carriers that can be modeled or cruisers. We don't have a model of the best heavy US cruiser of WW2 the Baltimore class. we do not need another Bismarck Yamato or iowa class BB. designer companies out there here is an underserved subject!

By the way the other Hiryu model is from etsutan, they are sold digitally on the dl website. they also released the IJN myoko recently. they are a bit pricey @ 25 US but they have a few "rare" IJN ships not available elsewhere. I don't have the dl address just google up etsutan and follow the links.
