I have fond memories of the Vinyl played in my home in the late 60s.
Around 1969 my Dad was listening to Beatles Let It Be and Abbey Road, and Pink Floyd's Ummagumma.
Myself...I can remember (being the normal 10 year old that I was) listening to Sound Effects records of WW2 Planes, the John Barry Thunderball soundtrack, and the greatest hits of George Formby.

lol I didn't start buying my own Beatles albums until much later in the 70s.

...
Recently Hot Wheels put out a special set of vehicles commemorating the Beatles.
It sparked my interest in recreating one of them,
or another Beatles related vehicle
for my KoolWheelz collection.
I think I will have to delve deeper into this.

Delve Dave, delve. Koolwheelz Beatles vehicles, what a great idea . You could also go 'Mobile' for The Who, a 'Silver Machine' for Hawkwind...(you could also go Osmond 'Crazy Horses').

Dave-you've already done 'Big Yellow Taxi' with your Blade Runner and Fifth Element taxi models.

Well you've already 70% done this Beatle's car Dave ... just wants a re-colour, soft top and a few faces in the windows.

See ... now you know why you made the Herald for me, but I suspect this is the one being asked about ...

It's 'orrible ennit?

Obviously this is the first "Beatle" car that springs to mind
and I have thought about this one.
But the Rolls is specifically Lennon's car (not Beatles)
and a bit too complicated in shape (for my KoolWheelz version).
I wouldn't be happy with it.

I want to know more about the Magical Mystery Tour bus.
One of my favorite Beatle albums.
And I saw the film back in the 70s.
And, its a Corgi toy.

Unfortunately I know little else about it, so I must do some reading.
And, I want to research the original Bus, not the replicas or more current tour buses.

Hey John,

Just heard an interview with Billy Bragg a few days ago on National Public Radio. Guess he's just came out with a book on the history of skiffle: Roots, Radicals and Rockers: How Skiffle Changed the World Was a good interview, he talked a lot about Lonnie Donnegan and how he was first introduced to him by John Peel.

I'm not putting him down 'cos I did like a lot of Lonnie's records, but although the press labeled him the King of Skiffle, he was really only the Commercial face of the Genre. Proper Skiffle was mostly amateur groups of friends playing around the Coffee bars and backstreet clubs. Lonnie's Banjo was probably worth more than these guys earned in a year, but it was real good fun to hear. The real 'King of Skiffle' was Chas MoDevitt. Last I heard he's still performing it. If he has turned up his toes, no one's told Wikipedia yet.

That send me down the Google rabbit hole. Couple of You Tube videos of Freight Train and Cotton Fields. Knew the songs but by American acts, of course for Cotton Fields growing up in Oklahoma and Texas heard Leadbelly's original recorded version.
