The Beatles !

Don't quite know why I put the exclamation mark there but it seemed like a good idea at the time.
Gary Pilsworth has given us the "Yellow Submarine", how good would it be to follow it with other Beatles ephemera ?
Perhaps the "Magical mystery tour" coach, or John Lennon's Rolls Royce, George's Mini? Blue Meanie anyone?

Actually, the Streetpaper Lennon auto isn't the Rolls. Oops

Come September, remind me again, and I'll revisit Julian Lennon's 4th birthday Burton caravan

The Beatles Figurine Paper Craft

Or there is a simpler set, sorta Cubee style, but I'd need to search throuh my ex-Photobucket files to find a picture of them.

has a few Beatle instruments like Paul's Höfner bass and John's Ric 325. I think I saw George's Stratocaster he used in Magical Mystery Tour, can't remember where I found it.

Actually I can define my Vinyl music collection as being from Johnny Ray through to Just before the Beatles. Back in the day I was a Teddy Boy, so I wasn't a Beatles or Mersey-Beat fan at all. I quite liked some of Lennon's later solo stuff, and I guess over the years I've come to like the Mop-tops too, but I'd never admit it publicly. Ooooer, I just did.

Child of the '50s me, not the '60s. In '62 they cut off me 'air and taught me how to use a rifle ... and many other "implements of destruction", which I went on to use for the next 30 years. Mostly overseas, so I didn't really get to experience the 'Days of enlightenment' or 'Flower Power', but I was there at the beginning of the Youth awakening, and the dawn of Rock'n'Roll. To this day my favorite musical genres are still Skiffle, Blue Grass, and Rock-a-Billy, but the Protest/Folk scene didn't pass us by in the Army. I totally fell in love with Julie Felix after seeing her and Bob Dylan live in Germany.
