I still have a folder for the Dorchester.
I'm sure one day I'll get to it...
although 1/6 scale is not looking too promising.
I doubt I will do any more vehicles bigger than 1/24.

I was staring at the book shelf trying to think if I had any new info on AEC Dorchester for AirDave . When the next wish pooped up, 1/12 doll house scale models of cabins on the Titanic 1st class 2nd class 3rd class, Hallways, dining rooms etc. etc. etc. I have seen pictures of new Titanic museums with replica 1/1 scale models of the cabins, so far all are to far to visit.
Wishing,
Miles

Gremir have a nice Dorchester, but it's 1:25 scale ... Don't think it's got internal details though.

AEC Dorchester

ONE ? Why not TEN !
Hi all
I,ve been let out of the loony bin for a while to disrupt peace around the globe, so !
If you had the choice of ANYTHING however impractical, what would be your top ten list of models ?

For me:-
1/ !/24 scale Blohm und Voss BV 141
2/ Large scale Lincoln Futura
3/ Johns multiplane, (more wings Igor ! (nyarr-ha-haaaar)
4/ Ed Roth's can't remember the name twin engine kustom.
5/ Caproni CA 60. I find it beautiful like a galleon in the skies.
6/ Arlen Ness's "Nesstique" The most beautiful custom bike.
7/ Bond mark G. Part of my childhood.
8/ Scammel 3 wheeled tractor unit. As a child in Leeds I remember these moving around like ghosts in the smog at the local council yard.
9/ Keil Kraft Super 60. My first and most remembered.
10/ Scott sociable. Will someone please tell me which way around it goes ?

These are my own selfish, off the top of my head desires, I would love to hear yours.
XX
Liz
(Back to the nuthatch now)
The Ed Roth car is probably the Mysterion, only double engine car that he did that I know of. Revell does a nice 1/25 plastic kit of it.

Myself only start 1/25-24th scale for most things, so I'll go with that.
Scammell 3 wheel in British Rail livery
Bond Mark G would be great also
Stout Scarab
AC Sociable
Liberty Class B WW1 truck
Dennis WW1 truck
Case 60nhp steam traction
Packard Gray Wolf racer
Aultman and Taylor prairie tractor
Foden steam truck

Wayne,

I put Liz's original comment in the quote tags [ qoute ] [/ quote ] (without the spaces)

You can do that as well, by clicking on the quote button in the bottom right hand corner that appears in every post, no need to copy and paste

In no particular order, my ten are:

an 1/12 Mercury capsule with interior
an 1/12 Gemini capsule with interior
1/33 TSR2 (with detailed interior)
The 1930s Mercury streamliner steam engine in any scale (but large is better)
1/48 Fokker F.XX Zilvermeeuw in any scale
1/33 Boeing X-20 Dyna Soar (with optional landing gear and an interior)
1/48 Ryan XP-77
"L' Espadon" (swordfish) from the Blake and Mortimer graphic novel
The evil empire's Red Shark Jets, also from "Le Secret de l' Espadon"
Westland P.12 Lysander Delanne (or Wendover)

But I already have a busload of free models I might not even finish all before I die, so I can't really complain, actually.
