ONE ? Why not TEN !

Hi all
I,ve been let out of the loony bin for a while to disrupt peace around the globe, so !
If you had the choice of ANYTHING however impractical, what would be your top ten list of models ?

For me:-
1/ !/24 scale Blohm und Voss BV 141
2/ Large scale Lincoln Futura
3/ Johns multiplane, (more wings Igor ! (nyarr-ha-haaaar)
4/ Ed Roth's can't remember the name twin engine kustom.
5/ Caproni CA 60. I find it beautiful like a galleon in the skies.
6/ Arlen Ness's "Nesstique" The most beautiful custom bike.
7/ Bond mark G. Part of my childhood.
8/ Scammel 3 wheeled tractor unit. As a child in Leeds I remember these moving around like ghosts in the smog at the local council yard.
9/ Keil Kraft Super 60. My first and most remembered.
10/ Scott sociable. Will someone please tell me which way around it goes ?

These are my own selfish, off the top of my head desires, I would love to hear yours.
XX
Liz

My list would be something like this:

  1. A 1:24 accurate model (with interior) of the Hughes H-4 Hercules. (I may settle for a 1:33 version too... but let me first buy a house to store it).
  2. As long as it is in paper and looks fine, a Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 1959 at any scale.
  3. 1:33 or 1:24 scale model of the Gavilan G358.
  4. Accurate 1:150 (or bigger) kit of Cousteau's Calypso.
  5. 1:33 or 1:24 accurate Douglas DST (DC-3), American Airlines pre-war civil configuration with berths and starboard access door.
  6. Any scale Event Horizon spaceship.
  7. Any of LeCorbusier's concept buildings.
  8. A 1:1 non-pepakura Jessica Rabbit.
  9. Since Revell/Monogram never re-released it, a good 1:8 detailed paper 78/79 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am would be awesome.
  10. A 1:1 functional Lemerchan's Box - Lament Configuration... I have a soul for sale for this one. Literally :D
Maybe some day...

1 USS DES MOINES, CA-134, 1:200, the most beautiful heavy cruiser to ever slip down the ways. I sailed in her for one cruise.
2. USS ALABAMA, BB-60, 1:200, just because I grew up there.
3. USS MONTANA BB-67, T:200, the monster that was never built. They built more Essex Class carriers instead.
4. 1933 4 door Essex Terraplane (Tan in color) any scale. The car my Dad drove from the time I was born ('36) until 1948. Parts were no longer available, so he had to scrap it.
5. 1942 Chrysler Town and Country barrel back, woody, station wagon. That is my favorite car of all time (also the car my Dad bought when he scrapped the Essex). 1:24 with interior would be nice.
6. Korean War style Jeep like the one I drove in RVN.
7. Fletcher class destroyer, 1:200 scale. I helped refuel one at sea while on board the USS Des Moines. I would like to recreate that operation. Bigger rush than a Roller Coaster ride.
8, 9, & 10. Widerides' Main Street Buildings. They remind me of my home town of Tuscaloosa, AL when it was a small town of less than 10,000 in my youth. Downtown was just two parallel streets, each two blocks long.

I have too many card models to build anyway, but if they were available:
1/33 or 1/48 Northrop BT-1 dive bomber
1/33 or 1/48 Martin T4M torpedo bomber
1/33 or 1/48 O-47A observation aircraft
1/33 or 1/48 F-107A
1/30-something Cassini spacecraft (not the simplistic 1/37 JPL model)
1/16 Lunar Rover (Ken West was working on one, but....)

If any of our intrepid designers want to tackle the BT-1, I have excellent 3-view drawings!

Missileer
Roman Detyna of digital navy has excellent 1/200 fletchers. Modelcard and promodel made ones as well. Halinski had a South Dakota 1/300 many years back and one of the eastern euro companies make a 1/200 Alabama, Maybe answer or the Ukrainian company.

CMDRTED,

Digital Navy has had "Out of Stock" listed on the Fletchers for over a year now. It turns out that it is not a digital file, but a printed book. They do not have a projected date for reprinting (if ever).

Thanks for the leads on the others, I'll check them out.

John
