Railroad bridge

Hallo all
im starting to build a model railroad layout in 1:87 H0
So i was looking around the forum for a nice little bridge to build for my layout, but low and behold, i could not finde one

There are a number of bridges on the internet. What type of bridge are you looking for? Modern? Old? High? Low?

I doubt you will find a model of that one.


I think you will probably have to scratch build it

And last of its kind. Only the B&O Railroad used that design. It should be done, but you should talk to an airplane builder or ship builder for recommendations on rigging the support

Should be easy to build using Plasticard (rod). Use stretched sprue or rod for the cables.

Will work in whatever scale you are modeling in....

Here are a couple of places with some railroad bridges, but not like that picture of the bridge posted.
Not sure of the scale on this one:
Access Denied

This one is HO scale:
teletrain

Do a search for Manila Folder Bridge Design. Some interesting information on how to design and build a bridge.

Frankly, I was thinking a mod of the WestJR bridge would be the best way to go for the main body of the bridge, but wasn't sure how the best way would be to do the suspension
