Anyone Interested in the StreetHawk motorcycle
Anyone interested in the StreetHawk motorcycle? I found this while doing some research on the web. Thought someone might want to make a model.

My very first motorbike was a 1982 Honda CB450T Hawk.
Bought it brand new for about $1200 ...traded it in later that year, with only 600 kilometers on it (for a slightly bigger bike). Dumb. I wish I had kept it...I wish I still had it. I don't know what is a "StreetHawk"...so I inserted my own thoughts.

I guess Clif is referring to the TV series?
It will help when requesting designs to post a couple of pictures and extra information about the subject

Never heard of it.
LOL Looks like a dirt bike (motocross) under those plastic bits.

Good childhood memories!
That was at about the same time as Airwolf, A-Team, V, Knight Rider, Manimal, Automan, Greatest American Hero, and many others. Didn't know a paper model of the bike existed. Would be nice to see it. Fun fact: Street Hawk was renamed for the Latin American market as "El Condor". I've never understood that name change in all this years.

StreetHawk like Automan only lasted 13 episodes as a January replacement series. It was a government experimental motorcycle kind of like a Knightrider bike that didn't talk. I saw the elevation drawings and thought some of the original fans might enjoy seeing it.

Remembered that MPC reissued a 69 Mustang kit in a StreetHawk version so got nosy. Figured it was probably a tv show since they were doing a lot of license tie-ins during that time period to rerun old kits.
Here's a link to a fan site that shows a lot about the bike(s) and a shot of the MPC model and a plastic kit of the bike that I've never seen. Street Hawk Online | The Man, the Machine, Street Hawk! |
