Anyone working on the new SLS rocket?

Been following NASAs progress, just hope it doesn't get scrapped!

Hi Douglas, in the past couple of years there have been some models available of the SLS. Only problem is that its final appearance still isn't 100% certain. But okay, apart from all that, here are some models you might find interesting:


Alfonso X. Moreno has one which looks like the most recent imagery on his site (scroll all the way down for the download)


An older incarnation of the SLS (all white), and also its predecessor called Ares and the other derivative Jupiter launcher of the same era are found on the Lower Hudson Valley site of Jon Leslie. Scroll down through the other models to find them.

This is the major reason I haven't started one. Myriad small details can change from the drawing board (monitor?) to the real thing. In fact, I'll probably wait until the first mission to carry a crew rolls out.
