Exclamation US Army P-12?

There are a LOT of US Navy Boeing F4B versions around. For some reason the US Army P-12 doesn't seem to get much attention. On ecards there is a P-1 Hawk with the inline engine. That is all that I have been able to find. Does somebody else have one somewhere I am not aware of?

In it's own way I feel it is as colorful as the USN version. Roman Vasilyev has a nice F4B series on ecards BUT the turtledeck and tail fin are not right for a P-12. I can modify the tail fin and probably even the turtle back but I am too old and cranky to ever teach myself the repaint thing.

I guess with SO many kits out there it is ridiculous to ask for another.

Nevermind.....

64 views and no response. Guess that sez it all. Oh well. It's not like I will ever run out of kits to build.

Maybe not the right people have seen it

Also helps if you add a drawing or pictures of the real thing, maybe then it will catch a designer's interest

And just because there is a "view", does not mean it was a forum
member. Crawl bots will jack up the count as well.

You obviously haven't seen the wooly mammoths that pass for people in Florida. They had to widen the aisles in the local Fatmart so two peeps could pass..

A .410 would just wake them up. (mebbe)

on the subject though, how different is the p12. would it just be a re-color and remove the naval stuff or are there many more changes to be made?

Judging from pictures and drawings changes were made with undercarriage, rear fuselage was substantially beefed up and there is something different about panels behind engine (engine was different too).

I don't see anything different about wings but I'm sure there were some changes to them as well, especially inner parts. Remember that airframe takes a lot of pounding during carrier deck landing.
