Spanish Civil War Vehicles

I was not sure where to put this. A collection of photographs of improvised armored vehicles used during the Spanish Civil War.

What a great find John!

Fascinating set of photographs and a great set of resources. Thank you!

I love the "Batmobile" six or seven pics down. Amazing amount of work went into that.

And the size of some of them are astonishing - some are really huge, while a few are tiny!

Anyone know what the attached is? I've been sent a model of it but no supporting information.

Regards,

Charlie

Looking at the length of the caterpillars, maybe it could be a Fordson tractor similar to the one in the photo, covered with improvised armor.
As we know, at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War it was very common to apply armoring in an artisan way in the available workshops.

Great link, John.
Incredible vehicles, of doubtful military utility, everything has to be said.
Curious the slogan written in some of them: "NO TIRAR" (do not shoot),

as an attempt to avoid friendly fire
