You mean much like you did with P-38?That would be useful.C-46 is a bit out of my alley but somehow it interests me.

Interests me, too, since I have two military parachutes jumps out of Republic of Korea Air Force C-46 Commandos in 1971 and 1972.

I have Murph's C-46s (Alaska Air and Air Transport Command Serial 477365), and we discussed him doing a ROKAF repaint, but he was unable to replicate the font for the ROKAF markings. I'd love to have an updated and refined version - and maybe the ROKAF version?

Don

Yep to C-46

Yep, an updated C-46 would be wonderful for some repaints to add to my list .

And with all due respect, add formers.

I wasn't thinking of a complete redesign, unless there's enough interest. Just redrawing the existing model so that the lines are crisper, and reworking the graphics. I think this one was also done before I got access to the correct official color charts, so I could get the colors closer.

For most of my life, I dismissed the C-46 as Curtis' inferior version of the C-47. Only recently did I learn how much bigger it was -- with a wingspan slightly larger than a B-17's! A redone model would be great.

Lots of stuff C-46 to look at here:
Curtiss C-46 celebrates its 70th anniversary

For me, I am a sucker for things in RAF type camo, so will also have to add G-AGDI to the list . Just have to trust that my eyes and fingers last until I am at least 107 or so, and we can still buy paper then.

After watching the series ICE PILOTS on Netflix, I would love to see a C-46 in Buffalo Airways markings. Hope Aaron does refine his model and maybe consider this handsome green and white paint scheme.

Certainly I'm interested!
And if a testbuilder is needed….
