Just wondering if the tail turret from the Fiddlers Green Lancaster would be a close approximation.

Regards,
John

Lancasters never had Emerson turrets installed, not even in trials afaik.

The only planes I've seen them on (on pictures) were Liberators.

1/200

This is my 1/200 scale test build of my dads B24 when he was with the Nationalist Chinese about 1947. He was a bombardier trained near Los Angeles California during WWIi. Paper nose turret is just cylinder with rounded top..

You could check out John Dell Liberator models if you can find them. He does a good job with those things.

Hi, wish I were able too. Earlier this year at the end of May, my computer break down. Files are there but cannot see them, something in computer that sends video out to monitor not working. So I can't see anything on disk or work on mine till computer gets fixed...if ever.

Good luck on making your own B-24 or better yet wait for the John Dell ones. They will come better than the first time.
Jeff
