Mirage Balzac

I'm a big fan of the Mirage line of fighters. I've actually built quite a few of them already out of paper, and I was looking for a template of the Balzac, which was a VTOL variant of the Mirage III, only to come empty-handed. Either I suck at searching stuff on Google, or nobody has yet made a template. Anyway, I would be thankful if anyone made a template.

The Mirage Balzac was sort of Mirage 3, but there were many differences, so you can't just take a Mirage 3 and add lift jets to it.

The first pic doesn't show the Balzac V but one of the 2 Mirage IIIV prototypes that came later and were bigger.

The Balzac V 001 was rebuilt from the original Mirage III-001 prototype, already nicknamed Balzac, the one was that used the wings from the unfinished Mirage II. Even before the VTOL conversion, that Mirage III-001 was already pretty different from the pre-production aircraft (the 10 Mirage IIIA, from A-01 to A-10).

It was named Balzac because of its serial number. "Balzac 0001" was the phone number of a famous advertising company showing commercials in movie theaters (to this day! Jean Mineur became Mediavision but their phone number still ends in 00 01).

Man that's a cool factoid! Welp since there doesn't serm to be a template anywhere, I'll probably attempt to scratch build the Balzac myself, once I learn the art of making paper templates...

Bruno did 2 versions of the Mirage III 001 in his 1:100 series (#2051, #2052). Can't remember wether he did the Balzac V. Couldn't find it in the april 2021 catalog.

Geli's Mirage III looks a lot like the Mirage III 001 (but with a 3-part windshield instead of the original 2-parts one). The fin is clearly that of the 001.

Both would require mods.
