Focus is on other projects right now...just pulled the M-50 Bounder from storage and moved into the "Very near future" queue. The Blinder is still in work, but dormant. Reference material is always a great incentive!

Thumbs up Myasishchev M-50

An M-50 is huge plane. However, it is relatively simple with long round fueslage and 4 round engine nacelles hanging on the wings. The Bicycle gear is interesting.

Should be a great build though.

Cheers

Isaac

I agree...at the moment I'm shooting for 1/50 scale, but it will be vector so upscaling to 1/33 will be easy. I'll be sure to include some goodies in the cockpit for those who want to upscale.

After ive blooded myself with the Canon 747 and PR A380 I,m looking to scratch build a IL-76 and Mainstay variant.

Enjoyed Tom Clancy novels in my youth and many a game of Microprose's Stealth Fighter game so I have a keen interest in cold war soviet aircraft.

Looking foward to seeing the Blinder.

Me too...through the power of Dosbox, I'm now revisiting a lot of those old friends from the early pre-Windows 90s...just put Megafortress and Syndicate on my netbook for entertainment when I am away from home...

Interesting choice!

I am considering Tu-134A and Tu-134UBL (bomber's trainer with the nose from Tu-22) myself which might be interesting for you guys.

Hey folks!

Just to keep this topic alive.
I've just finished my previous project and now going to return to Tu-22 Blinder.
At the moment the model from topic bellow was throw to trash. The new model recreated from scratch to 70% for now.
Will be in 1/33 for sure.
????????? ????? • ???????? ???? - ??-22?? (Blinder). WIP.

I'm still looking for additional blueprints and schemes, so any help will be appreciated.

Hello folks,
small update on Blinder.

This is second 100% new-made model. External panels are ready on 90%.

Stay tuned.
