Wing tips, pre-assemble. Tips will be completely assembled right on the wings.

Very simple parts, but takes around a two weeks to make (~1 hour a day), due the fact that all clear plastics I have become white once I'm trying to bend it. So I was forced to make mold and use hot plastic to got clear light-covers.

You also can clearly see that it's better to use clear LEDs for navigation-lights instead of matte ones (like I did). At list if you like to make bulb imitation.

Stay tuned.

Salvaged old ailerons (they was ugly indeed) for internal structure and made new ailerons using "necroscoping" method.

Tearing of protective paper:

Cutting out:

This bended in half strip of office paper makes edge assembly fast, easy and trouble free. I'm sure that it was invented looong time ago, but in this time I inverted it myself (for myself).

Result:

With wing.

With wing and flaps.

Ok, team, huge update. Not much done, honestly, but it's huge!
Flaps and ailerons - done. All parts movable.

Also meet some disaster - glue from two-sided glue-tape user to assemble elevator - soaked through paper. Everything was fine almost a year and suddenly s--t just happen. I'm not going to re-do this part, let's imagine this is just a rust.

Feathers in:

Feathers out:

Here come fin and stabilizer. Can't resist myself.

Disaster.

With regular orange lighter.

Just for fun.

Back to storage.

Такие дела.
