Overall we need more civil aviation subjects, especially Golden Age and light craft.

Ah - I see, obviously I'm not a Mooniac.

The distinctive look of the Mooney would be enjoyed by all the mooniacs around here (and airplane buffs too):p

I beleve there are plans available for two of Mooney flying models. One kit was of the single place Mooney Mite and I think there was a four place model. They had an interesting shaped tail.

I flew in a Mooney Mite once. It was a nice little airplane. Looked a little like the Globe Swift, but fabric-covered wood instead of metal and with a swept-foward tail (and does anyone else remember the Strombecker solid model of the Globe Swift?).

Thank you all for the comments and encouragements. The Mooney i'm looking for is the four place. This arcraft is slick, fast and fun to fly. My neighbor has one and lets me fly it. Want to make him a model as a gift. Will keep searching............
