1:1 Springfield XDm Pistol

So Ive been working on this one for a while now, just about to start uving the model to texture it, then work on laying it out and test building.

Heres a couple of pics of the model so far, slide will be sprung, as will the trigger, and mag will come out. Wanted to make the mag release work, but havnt come up with a simple enough way to do it yet.

Finished Uving the model, and in the meantime while texturing it, layed it out in pepakura, 79 parts I think, getting ready to print off a first test build :D

Looks great! You mentioned a texture? And chance of this having an olive frame / black slide? Or will it be completely black?

I'm in a phase of being really interested in handguns so I'm thrilled to see this one. If you make the mag release work too, that would be awesome!

Great work so far. Look forward to the finished product.
