ACW Ship Designer - Magnus Mork
Being new to the hobby, I came across references to Magnus Mork's ACW ships while doing research last night. It is sad that the hobby lost such a great person. I am wondering if his designs are available anywhere at this time? All the links on his website are dead now. Thanks for any information. Ric minigamer1953

WARNING malware on myspace link
**WARNING**
I would not try and download any models from that myspace link. I tried and instead of going to a downloader page, I was highjacked to a site that loaded malware onto my PC. System Tool malware. yuck! Could be just my bad luck but, I would suggest caution. I'm now working on a new hartd drive and tranfering my file from the infected one. Well I needed a clean Windows XP to work on anyway  john

John, I was actually working on a post to warn people about the malware problem on the hosting site that the links on Magnus Mork's now defunct MySpace site point you to. I use Norton 360 and it flagged my attempts to connect to those links and blocked access by them to my PC. The warning references a HTTP Malicious Toolkit Variant for FileDen, the hosting site. I'm assuming that anyone with an out of date Anti-Virus program will be attacked by the program that triggers when the link opens. I don't understand why people spend time and talent creating these things.... So, a warning to anyone looking for Magnus Mork models that is directed to his old site: Magnus Mörck (Magnus Mörck) on Myspace - do not click on any of the links on that page. As to my search for his models, I am still looking for them or photos of completed models. Thanks and Good Luck, Ric minigamer1953

A couple years back I was able to contact Magnus Morck's son through my space to ask if I could use those models for a cub scout project, as prizes for one of our events. He got back to me and gave me permission to use them. I have all (I think) of his models on disc now. I could try and contact him again to ask if I might e-mail these models to friends, as I do not think he would mind.
