Those foam flyers airplanes were my favorite purchase from the local ice cream man as a kid. Kids from the neighborhood would swarm the van yelling for their favorite icecream, and I'd be yelling "gimme the P-38!"

Thank you all for your inspiring words... Unfortunately due to my work, I travel a lot and I was forced to discontinue my foamie gliders book project. However upon hearing the news the local kids got together and asked me to teach thrm how to make them for themselves... It was great, I tought them a little about aerodynamics, and if course showed them how to design their own gliders and make them fly... I had a class of about 20 kids and some of the kids were not even from my neighborhood... Some if them show great potential as paper modelers (they got curious and asked about my paper models)
