Thanks Dave...I'll try to eventually work a Canadian based livery in somewhere within the lineup. I doubt seriously that off the wall /culture flare paint jobs will be part of my group however. You're more than welcome to create your own livery for your builds (or upload a couple for our members) once the plane is released...thanks for the suggestion though! I may get a bit more artsy with the DC-10 later. I know Inky wants a ficticious Shamu that sounds cool...lol.

A.A. Weeeee!

Looking forward to seeing more of the DC-10 in the old Continental livery. Reminds of the Continental flights between Chicago and Denver in the "quiet coach" section when they served some of the best sandwiches (corned beef, salami, roast beef)with hot German potato salad, cole slaw and a full New York style dill pickle. Just enough for us business travelers. Gosh -- that was decades ago.....

Ahh.... that corned beef sandwich and german potato salad sounds great! Nowdays they give you crackers and a half a diet Coke....lol.....my first flight as a kid on a DC-10 from O'hare to Seattle, I got a brass pilot wings medal pinned on my shirt by a cute stewardess with VERY false eyelashes and a styrofoam 747 toss plane...cooool ! I'll never forget the floral pattern seats in coach...reminded me of the cushions in Grandma's redwood outdoor furniture set....lol....

In the middle of another project and then I'll probably come back to it...Kinda got stuck with a couple details after it came out of Pepakura and i didn't like the results....just hadn't got back to it yet...Maybe couple months it'll be beta buildable...I asked for beta builders a month or so ago...nobody offered so I just kinda figured nobody was interested. Kinda hard to get motivated when I've got other projects of interest on the table and only a couple guys like yourself show any interest. An airliner is a perty big undertaking for just a handful of interested partys...it's kinda' like I'll get around to it when I can...

Thanks for the inquiry and you'll see something sooner or later...hang loose bro..and a Good Morning 2U2....It's off to the pantry for some Life cereal..YUM!

I hope I'm not chiming in too late but how about a "naked' version. You could put some fantasy name on it, or just print out a "Plane Jane" model, and spray paint it afterwards?
