Lexx

Has anyone worked on or come across a kit or plans for the Lexx?

For those that haven't heard of Lexx, it was a wonderful tongue-in-cheek sci-fi series. Here is a pic of the Lexx...

I loved the first Zev better than the 2nd, in the looks Department, The second Zev did grow on me though, and I think was a better actress. They could be done in Pepakura probably. Or were you referring to the ship?

2nd Zev, and then of course, Lyekka!!

And of course Lyekka!!

Who being a plant, was very hungry, and smooth all over.

lol yeah, there was a lot of visual and spoken innuendo in the series. The spherical [arts are the the front end of the ship fyi.

Regardless of the heavy sexual content in the series I never thought of the ship as phallic
...you are of course looking at it in reverse (in the above image)

its the one thing that really struck me as out of place
...the ship is of course alive, but it is represented as an insect.
Sort of a Dragonfly with big Fly eyes. Only thing missing is the wings.

And yet. no other "insect" references seem to be present in the show.
There doesn't seem to be a reason for the insect like look.

"The Lexx...the most powerful weapon in two Universes"
yes, its actually a living weapon, not really a space ship.
With the power to vaporize an entire planet in one burst of energy.

Anyway, the first (movie) episode was the best part...worth watching
just to see Barry Bostwick in the craziest role of his life!

I think the ship would make a very complicated paper model,
especially done in small scale.

haha its another one of those massive ships!
The ship is supposedly over 10 miles long!

Dave,
Insect reference was in the backstory - with the "insect wars." Humans destroyed the insects (RAID!!!!) but his Divine Shadow escaped and somehow became the ruler (politicians, eh?), hence the big bug that breaks out at the end of the first season.
A truly twisted show ...
Yogi (don't ask)

The craft to fly down to planets wasn't a big Fly you climb into? Zev turned into a insect. Humans were fed into the Main insect that occupied the core of the Planet (don't want to give away to much to those who have not seen it). I could go on. Watch the series again.
