No new updates at the moment. Right now I'm concentrating on finishing my Camaro build when I have the free time to do so. I would say that i should have the red lion unfolded built and ready for download by the end of May.

Sounds good Grizley, how many "sub" models are there going to be? And will they be able to attach to each other?

This model is really cool! I was waiting for a good, detailed Voltron papermodel long time ago!

Thanks Rusty,

There will be 5 more separate model releases. Next is the red lion, 3 will be green lion, 4 will be blue lion, 5 will be yellow lion, and 6 will be the stand with sword and shield. They will be able to attach to each other. I'm hoping that the fit will be tight enough that it will hold poses.

Thank you for the post Lacc, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Voltron is one of my favorite and most memorable childhood toys so I knew I had to make one I was happy with. Buying an actual vintage Voltron is just not in my budget so this is the next best thing for me.

Looking forward to all of them Griz, I wonder how the finished height will compare to Julius Perdana's Optimus Prime at a whoppin' 1.4m.

In my opininon a self designed and made, very own Voltron is way much better and cooler, than an expensive, vintage piece. It worth much more for the person who is building it! With money you can buy anything, except a paper Voltron, which is made by yourself. You have to build it first and that's the fun part in it and that's why it will belong to you, it will be YOUR Voltron, just like your memories from your childhood!

Thank you Doug, You will get there some day, all it takes is practice. I was thinking about doing a modeling for papercrafts with Gmax tutorial. I will give it some thought as it would take some time to do it right, maybe I will do that once I start on my next model.

IZIP is a free program for Mac that should do what you need.
